Ploy MCP URL

https://ploy.ai/api/mcp

Your website, wherever you work

Fix it on the go

Spot a stale price or a typo between meetings? Ask Claude on your phone and Ploy updates the page.

Brief to page

Turn the launch brief you are already writing in ChatGPT or Claude into a page on your site, built on your design system.

You decide what ships

Publishing is its own permission. Review the change, then tell your assistant to ship it.

Bring your own assistant

Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Grok and other MCP clients all connect to the Ploy MCP. Moving an existing site? With the Ploy CLI, Claude Code or Codex can migrate it to Ploy from its source code.

You choose what it can do

When you sign in, pick one workspace or all of them, then keep only the permissions you want.

Chat with agents

Start and continue chats with Ploy's Agent from your assistant. The agent builds and edits pages on your site's brand, and can change data, use credits and use your connected services.

Try asking

Ask Ploy to add a pricing page to my site.

Connect in two minutes

Every assistant uses the same URL and the same Ploy sign-in.

FAQ

Questions before you connect

  • What is the Ploy MCP?

The Ploy MCP is a remote MCP server at https://ploy.ai/api/mcp. Add it to an AI assistant, sign in with your Ploy account, and the assistant can start and continue chats with Ploy's Agent, read your sites, forms, documents and visitors, manage your databases, and publish your site.

  • Why should I use the Ploy MCP?

Use it if you want to turn the site you already have into a growth engine. Ploy keeps improving your SEO, AEO and conversion rate and finds new opportunities to grow your business. The Ploy MCP lets you direct that work from the assistant you already use, without opening another tool.

  • Which AI tools work with Ploy?

Claude Desktop, claude.ai, Claude Code, ChatGPT, the Codex app and CLI, Grok, Grok Bot, Meta Muse and Cursor. Any other AI tool or agent that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in can connect to the same URL.

  • Do I need an API key?

No. The Ploy MCP uses OAuth sign-in. Paste the URL, sign in to Ploy and approve access. Leave the client ID, client secret, API key and headers empty if your tool asks.

  • Can I update my site from my phone?

Yes, with Claude. A connector you add in Claude Desktop or on claude.ai also works in the Claude mobile apps. Custom MCP servers are not available in the ChatGPT mobile apps.

  • What can the assistant do in my workspace?

At sign-in you choose one workspace or all your workspaces in an organization, and the permissions to grant: chat with agents, read workspace data, write workspace data, and publish sites to production. Publishing is its own permission, so you can leave it off.

  • Can a coding agent move my existing site to Ploy?

Yes, with the Ploy CLI at ploy.ai/cli. Open your site's repository in Claude Code or Codex, and the agent inspects the source code, plans the move and migrates the site to Ploy. A compatible Astro repository can be imported on the Free plan. Sites on other frameworks are ported to Ploy's Astro runtime.

  • Which plans include it?

The Ploy MCP is available to every Ploy account. Claude's free plan allows one custom connector. In ChatGPT, full access, including changes, is available on Business, Enterprise and Edu. On ChatGPT Pro, Ploy can only read data.

  • How do I disconnect an assistant?

In Ploy, open Integrations, select the MCP tab, and choose Manage connected clients. Select Revoke access next to the tool you want to disconnect.
