We’re growing our team in San Francisco and New York to build the marketing platform we always wished existed.

Ploy is an AI-native marketing platform. We help growth teams design, ship, and continuously improve high-converting websites without waiting on engineers, agencies, or six-week design cycles. The tools companies use today were built for static websites and quarterly campaigns. Ours are built for the way modern teams actually work — fast, iterative, and informed by data at every step.

How we work

The team is small on purpose. Every person owns real surface area, ships into production weekly, and talks directly to customers. Titles matter less than what you’ve shipped and what you can pull off next.

We default to high agency and short feedback loops. Designers write code. Engineers write copy. Founders sit in customer calls every week. The bar is high and the work is hard, but the cycle time between an idea and it reaching real users is measured in days, not quarters.

What we look for

  • TasteYou can tell good design from bad and useful copy from filler — and you have strong opinions about why.
  • RangeYou move between research, design, code, and customer calls without dropping the ball. Specialists welcome, generalists thrive.
  • OwnershipYou scope your own work, push it through, and follow up after launch. Nobody chases you for status updates.
  • SpeedYou would rather ship a sharp B+ this week than a hypothetical A in two months. We iterate in production.

Roles we’re hiring

We hire across product, engineering, design, and growth. The roles open most often:

  • Product engineers (full-stack, frontend, AI)
  • Founding designers
  • Growth and lifecycle marketers
  • Customer engineers and solutions partners

If you don’t see your exact role listed but think you’d be a fit, write us anyway. We’ve hired more than one person who pitched themselves into a role we hadn’t opened yet.

Where we work

We’re hybrid in two cities. The San Francisco team is together in person three days a week, and the New York team does the same. We don’t hire fully remote — building this product needs the bandwidth of being in the same room.

Compensation is competitive cash plus meaningful equity. Full medical, dental, and vision. We cover the cost of being in person: commute, lunches, and team offsites.

How hiring works

  1. A 30-minute conversation with a founder to make sure the work is what you want and you are what we need.
  2. A paid working session on a real Ploy problem — not a whiteboard puzzle. You see how we work, we see how you think.
  3. Two reference calls with people who have shipped alongside you.
  4. An offer, usually within a week of your first conversation.
