HubSpot landing pages: how to build them and their limits

Every Content Hub plan includes HubSpot landing pages, capped at 30 below Professional. Compare other builders and keep HubSpot reporting elsewhere.

HubSpot landing pages are standalone pages you build in Content Hub for one campaign or offer, such as an event registration, a product launch or gated content, with forms that turn visitors into HubSpot contacts. They suit teams whose contacts already live in HubSpot. Every Content Hub plan includes them, and your plan sets how many you can create.

Build a HubSpot landing page from a template in five steps

HubSpot’s editor is drag and drop, and pages are built from templates, either from your active theme or custom templates made in HubSpot’s design manager. You add a form or call to action, preview the page on different devices and publish it to a domain connected to HubSpot (free accounts publish to a HubSpot-branded domain). After launch, HubSpot’s analytics show who visits each page and what they do.

HubSpot’s Create and customize pages guide lists the steps:

  1. Open Landing Pages. Click More, then go to Content > Landing Pages. If More doesn’t appear, go to Content > Landing Pages directly.
  2. Set up your brand kit. Click Set up Brand Kit to add your logo, favicon and colors.
  3. Create the page. Click Create a landing page in the top right. If it’s your first page, choose a theme and click Set as active theme.
  4. Pick a template and add content. Click a template card, then Edit manually, and add your copy, images and form in the content editor.
  5. Set the page details. Click Settings to enter the page title, choose the domain and URL slug and write the meta description, then publish.

Free and Starter cap HubSpot landing pages at 30

HubSpot’s Content Hub pricing page lists four plans:

Plan Price Landing pages What you add
Free $0, up to 2 users Up to 30 HubSpot branding on every page
Starter $20 per seat a month ($7 new-customer offer) Up to 30 Custom templates, no HubSpot branding
Professional $450 a month, 3 core seats Up to 10,000 Smart content, A/B and adaptive testing, SEO recommendations, AI page generation
Enterprise $1,500 a month, 5 core seats Up to 10,000 Everything in Professional

The HubSpot landing page builder limits volume, design and hosting

Teams usually look for another builder when they hit one of these limits:

  • Page volume. Going past 30 pages means moving to Professional even when page count is all you need, while Ploy prices its plans by credits used for building and editing rather than by page count.
  • Brand-matched design. Matching your site’s design means building custom HubSpot landing page templates, while Ploy’s AI landing page builder builds each page from your existing design system and components.
  • Hosting. If your main site runs on Webflow, WordPress or another platform, HubSpot pages run on a domain or subdomain connected to HubSpot, with their own templates. Ploy’s routing rules can instead serve pages on chosen paths of your existing domain once you have a paid plan with a custom domain.

HubSpot remains the simpler choice when your pages follow a few proven templates and your contacts live in HubSpot, because forms, contact records and page reports stay in one system.

Keep HubSpot reporting on landing pages built elsewhere

HubSpot’s tracking code guide covers four steps:

  1. Install the tracking code by hand on every external page, with one HubSpot tracking code per page, since only HubSpot-hosted pages get it automatically.
  2. Add the external domain in HubSpot’s tracking code settings.
  3. Connect your forms. Embedded HubSpot forms send submissions straight to HubSpot, and the tracking code lets HubSpot capture non-HubSpot forms too.
  4. Label the pages. Have a developer add HubSpot’s setContentType call with the value landing-page so reports count them as landing pages.

Frequently asked questions

Are HubSpot landing pages free?

HubSpot's free Content Hub plan includes up to 30 landing pages for up to 2 users, with HubSpot branding on every page. Professional and Enterprise raise the limit to 10,000 pages.

Do custom HubSpot landing page templates need a paid plan?

Custom templates start on Content Hub Starter, which also removes HubSpot branding but keeps the 30-page limit.

How do you create a landing page in HubSpot?

Go to Content > Landing Pages, click Create a landing page, then pick a template and click Edit manually. Add your content and form in the editor, and set the page title, URL and meta description in Settings before you publish.

Can you use HubSpot forms on landing pages built in another tool?

An embedded HubSpot form sends submissions to HubSpot from any page. Add HubSpot's tracking code and list the page's domain in HubSpot's tracking settings so HubSpot also records visits and can capture non-HubSpot forms.

Can Ploy sync landing page leads to HubSpot?

Ploy's Pro and Enterprise plans include two-way HubSpot sync for contacts, companies and deals, which also logs new leads captured on Ploy pages.
